This was one of my most anticipated books of the year, and it didn’t disappoint. Annabel is an auto-read author for me, and I have read four books from her so far. I love strong female characters, and Dolly definitely was that. The relationship between her and Stewart was genuine, and it was interesting to see what they both had to acknowledge and overcome in themselves to have a strong relationship. This might be my new favourite Annabel Monaghan book! I loved how the characters were depicted with strong, heartfelt, and real emotions. Both Dan and Jane were engaging characters with amazing chemistry. The writing is great and the plot moved at a good pace. Give this one a try if you’re looking for an interesting romance read.
