I really liked this book! Chani is struggling in her writing career but then gets a chance to interview movie heartthrob Gabe. They both need her article to give them a positive career boost. It is assumed that they had an intimate relationship over the interview weekend. This assumption follows Chani throughout her career. Ten years later she is asked to do a follow up article. What will happen between them? I found this book to be well written and the characters interesting

I read this author’s book, Funny You Should Ask, last year and this follows that one. Gabe and Chani appear in this one as secondary characters but this book can definitely be considered a standalone book. Gabe’s sister, Lauren, is the main character now and we learn about her life in their small hometown. Gabe is back to put on a play and one of the other actors falls in love with Lauren. She is a widowed single parent and she has a lot on her plate as she develops a strong
