Review of For the Love of the Grind

Sara Hall is an exceptional distance runner, and she has been running since she was a teenager. Over the years, Sara has been a top runner for the US and competed and succeeded in many international events and held distance records. She has battled injuries and herself along the way. Sara and her husband Ryan, also an accomplished runner, adopted four sisters from an Ethiopian orphanage, and she details her motherhood journey and how the girls adapted to their new home. Her Christian faith is an important component of Sara’s life, and she has used it to guide her since she was a child. At the age of 43, Sara competed in the Boston Marathon yesterday and finished first in her age class. Sara has had an amazing running career and an interesting journey through life so far! I love books about athletes and what motivates them, and I enjoyed learning about this exceptional athlete.
