Review of The Future Saints

Another amazing book by this talented author! This story is reminiscent of Daisy Jones but completely stands on its own. Theo, a record exec, convinces a spiralling and collapsing band to give themselves another chance. In particular, Hannah, the lead singer and pulse of the trio. As they soon achieve newfound and amazing success, there are still fractures that need to be addressed within the band. At the core of their problems is the death of their previous manager, who was also Hannah’s sister and the person who could manage the band’s different personalities. As Hannah continues to struggle with her overwhelming grief and destructive tendencies, will she take the band down with her? Can the growing closeness between her and Theo continue? I enjoyed all the unique and interesting characters we encountered in the book. Theo is a sweetheart and is a miracle worker with the band. The characters were genuine and real, and the music industry aspects were interesting. I definitely was engaged in this well-written book from start to end. Overall, a captivating read!
