Review of The Romance Pitch: a spicy workplace romance

I was very entertained by this office romance story. Chloe has a one-night stand at a work conference, only to find out that her one-night stand is now her new work partner. Both Chloe and Alex are shocked to find out that they now work at the same company and that they have been assigned a significant project to work on together. Chloe decides it is best to keep the fact that they have met before a secret. I really enjoyed learning the marketing aspect of their jobs, and it was interesting to see them design and put their important pitch together. The relationship between Chloe and Alex was engaging, and it definitely brought out a softer side of Chloe, who was stoic and stern in all her work relations. I loved the banter and dialogue. It was compelling and authentic watching Alex struggle as he tried to find his footing in his new job and city. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and want to read more from this author.
