Review of If Things Were Different

Another amazing book from Meg McSpadden. She always brings her characters to life with such authenticity. The two main characters have palpable chemistry while also dealing with their own issues. Blythe is coping with grief as she mourns the loss of her husband, and Sam is grappling with depression at the loss of his career. Both of these issues were written and treated with sensitivity. The Scottish background adds another great dimension to the story. Overall, another entertaining and engaging book from this author.
